Who We Are
Here at St. Timothy, we model our ways on Jesus, who welcomed everyone who came to him. We gather together each week in all our diverse paths of life and faith to celebrate the unconditional and all-encompassing love of God, and we are happy to walk with you no matter where you are in your journey.
If you have questions, are a spiritual seeker looking for someone to talk to, or are in need of pastoral care, you can connect with Pastor Adam at pastor@sttimothygrandisland.com or on Sunday mornings to sit down for a conversation.
If you'd like to know more about who we are as an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) community, what we believe, and how we live out our faith, please visit this page.
On a local level, we're a small community that gathers for worship, supports each other through fellowship, and deepens our faith through study and prayer. There's never any pressure to participate where you aren't comfortable, and we hold space for exploration and questions.
We have found that personal connections are essential to our identity. Why we do what we do is to serve God by inspiring faith and passion through connections, so that we can nurture and fulfill our community and the world. In connecting with God and connecting with neighbors, we strengthen our own faith and are more intentional about living it out in the world around us.
